Job Title: Director of Finance (Full Time)

Job Duties:

  • Review and enforce financing decisions and accounting policies and procedures
  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, journal entries, and reporting process;
  • Prepare all periodical financial statements;
  • Lead the annual budget process;
  • Review financial performance and monitor for areas of improvement
  • Manage cash collections, inventory turnover, asset-based funding, and cash disbursements on a daily and weekly basis
  • Manage the company’s asset-based lending banking relationship and agreement and ensure compliance with all debt covenants
  • Coordinate with external auditors for the bank collateral field exams, inventory appraisals, and the annual audit
  • Perform monthly inventory usage planning and set the target sales and replenishment SKUs
  • Track and analyze the market price and provide weekly pricing proposal for imports and export
  • Reconcile with oversea vendors on issues related to shipments, payments, bill backs, etc.
  • Supervise all functions and staff of the accounting/finance areas to include credit and collection, accounts receivable, accounts payable and staff accountants
  • File and maintain corporate tax return and employee retirement plan
  • Review operational performance metrics and collaborate with the departmental leaders to establish and implement operational strategies
  • Perform back-up to other related functions, i.e. credit management, sales support, insurance policies and payrolls
  • Supervise three subordinate employees including: staff accountant, A/R & Credit Manager, and accounts payable specialist.
  • Train staff in accounting/finance department, and other departments, as needed.

Travel Requirement:

Little (less than 30 days) domestic travel in a year.

Work Schedule:

Full time; 40 hours per week


U.S. Master of Science degree in Financial Management


2 years of experience in the job offered or in the closely related job title of Business Operations Specialist or Investment Banking Analyst. Experience to include, 2 years of experience in asset-based lending (ABL), track and analyze the market price and provide weekly pricing proposal for imports and exports; and commodity inventory management.
