Newport International has a long, successful history in the seafood industry. Our company began operations in 1964. We have been innovators and pioneers in many areas ranging from owning processing plants, ponds, and fishing vessels to the development of joint ventures overseas and the creation of new products. We were one of the earliest importers of blue swimming crab meat; the first importer of cooked Guyana salad shrimp, and started the red crab industry in Rhode Island. The list goes on.

Today we import, distribute, and market many sizes and forms of blue swimming crab, rock crab, value added shrimp, tilapia portions, true grouper, once-frozen mahi-mahi, lobster meat and other seafood products to the food service and retail industry. The many facilities in Thailand, China, Vietnam, Venezuela, India, Indonesia, Guyana, Ecuador, and Canada provide us with the versatility of supply necessary to satisfy all product needs. Our brand, Jack's Catch®, is all about quality.

The brand began as the concept name for a seafood restaurant in Rhode Island in the 1970's. It has now grown into one of the leading national brand names in the country. Only the finest and highest quality products are packed under our "flagship" brand. Our commitment to quality allows us to state that all of our products meet FDA and HACCP requirements.
